Upcoming Toyota Innova Details Leaked (Brochure, Images & More)
Images, features and the specifications of the new Toyota Innova that is to be unveiled globally next month have been leaked. These are the brochure pictures of the Indonesian spec Toyota Innova.
The design of the vehicle has been updated heavily, keeping the Innova on track with other Toyota models in the market. The twin headlight pods and the front grille that neatly blends into the headlights are big noticeable changes.
In Indonesia, the Innova will be offered with diesel, as well as a petrol engine. The Innova's 2.4-litre diesel engine will generate 147bhp and the 2.0-litre petrol engine, on the other hand, will produce 137bhp. Both engines will be offered with a choice of either a six-speed automatic or a five-speed manual gearbox.
According to these brochures, the feature list will include LED headlights and tail lamp, keyless entry and push button start, standard driver and passenger airbags, while the top variant gets seven airbags, and stability control and hill-start assist as a standard feature across all variants.
The dashboard looks similar to the Fortuner's dual tone theme, wooden inserts, slim AC vents, a new 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth, aux, sd card and voice recognition, cooled glovebox, and climate control.
The mid-spec variant in Indonesia will get HDMI input with Miracast Wi-Fi support and internet browsing facility with the infotainment system. While all these features seem very interesting, one could only wonder if all these features will make it to the Indian spec Innova.
When the new Toyota Innova reaches the Indian shores, it could have significant increase in price, which may hamper the sales since it is the most sought after choice when it comes taxis for families.
