New Honda Accord To Be Launched In India By Mid-2016

Japanese automobile manufacturer is set on launching a variety of products in India. Honda has planned on improving their sales in India by offering more products in the market.

Honda India now promise to launch their all-new Accord in the country during 2016. It is most likely to make its re-entry into the market at the 2016 Auto Expo in Delhi, which will be followed by its launch.

The 2016 Accord is most likely to be launched in two engine options for India. They will offer a traditional 2.4-litre petrol engine, along with a hybrid option which will come at a later stage.

During 2013 Honda India took out their Accord from the market, due to diminishing sales. The Japanese manufacturer also wanted to focus on its smaller vehicles in India and stopped selling the Accord.

Currently Honda offers the Brio, Amaze, City, Mobilio and CR-V models in India. They will soon be launching their premium hatchback the Jazz and a compact sedan is also on the cards.

In terms of the price for 2016 Honda Accord no details have been provided. We are expecting a price tag similar to that of its competitors Toyota and their Camry, which is on sale in India as well.
