Michelin X Multi Tubeless Radial Truck Tyre Range Launched In India
Michelin India has launched its all-new X Multi tubeless radial truck tyre range. It has been introduced to the Indian market on the 28th of July, 2015 and will be available across the country.
These tyres by the French manufacturer have been specially designed for Indian roads and climate. It is only available for commercial vehicles and will soon be the choice of many truck owners in India.
It will be offered in two versions by Michelin India, called X Multi Z(steer axle) and X Multi D(drive axle) tyres. The manufacturers offers an unique hexagonal tread with additional metallic wires for better grip and stable experience.
Mohan Kumar, Commercial Director, Michelin India, expressed, "We are witnessing a positive momentum of new technology adoption in the Indian commercial vehicle segment and we believe that it is the right time to offer the discerning Indian fleet owner the new world of tubeless tyres."
He further added, "Our latest tubeless Michelin X Multi range have been specially designed and engineered, keeping in mind the tough road and weather conditions of India to offer better and safer driving experience, which is coupled with significantly increased cost efficiencies to businesses that transport goods across the country."
Prices for the new Michelin X Multi tyres start from INR 20,000 plus taxes. The manufacturer claims these tyres save fuel by four percent and can improve mileage by up to 30 percent.
