Michael Winkler Announced As CEO & President of Bentley

UK based luxury carmaker Bentley has announced that Michael Winkler will be the company's new President and CEO for Bentley Motors in the Americas.

He will take the role, effective from 1st of April 2015.

Winkler will take over Christophe Georges role, who has recently been appointed as the Director of Product and Marketing for Bentley's global organisation.

Winkler will report directly to Bentley's Member of the Board for Sales, Marketing and Aftersales, Kevin Rose.

Winkler has over 30 years of experience in the automobile industry. He has held numerous positions in companies like Porsche in Germany, North America and Australia. He was also the Managing Director for Jaguar and Land Rover's Australian division.

There are currently 53 Bentley dealerships accross the Americas, with the corporate headquarters based in Herndon, Virginia.
