Mercedes had revealed the 2015 Formula One car yesterday, ahead of the first day of pre-season testing at the Circuito de Jerez in Spain.

Team drivers Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg revealed the seventh Silver Arrow, which will be used to compete in the Formula One World Championship 2015.

Since Formula One cars are something of an obsession to many, let's take a detailed look at the 2015 Formula One race car from team Mercedes.

Monocoque Chassis: Moulded carbon fibre and honeycomb composite structure
Carbon fibre composite including engine cover, sidepods, floor, nose, front wing and rear wing
Removable driver's seat made of anatomically formed carbon composite, Sabelt six-point driver safety harness, HANS system
