Mercedes-Benz Planning On Launching New SUV Or Saloon EV
Mercedes-Benz is planning to takeover the world with their new products. The German based automobile manufacturer plans to introduce 15 new luxury models in India and is on track to achieve it.
Now the German manufacturer wants to increase its electric vehicle portfolio globally. Mercedes-Benz is most likely to introduce an all-new electric SUV or saloon model for several markets.
At the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show Mercedes-Benz showcased a few concept vehicles and their future models. Currently the German manufacturer offers B-Class and SLS AMG Electric Drive models.
The new electric vehicle from Mercedes-Benz will boast of phenomenal range. It will store electrical energy in a lithium-ion battery and is expected to have a range of 400 to 500 kilometres.
Currently there is no timeline provided for the launch of Mercedes-Benz new electric vehicle. We are also not sure if either of their electric models would be coming to Indian shores.
