Mercedes-Benz C450 AMG Sport, Mercedes-Benz GLE 63 Coupe SUV Revealed
Mercedes-Benz has revealed official pictures of its latest AMG cars, including the C450 AMG Sport sedan and estate, and the GLE 63 Coupe SUV. These three new vehicles will soon be introduced globally and are sure to appeal to Mercedes and AMG fans alike.
First, let's take a look at the Mercedes-Benz C450 AMG Sport sedan. Based on the new C-Class, the C450 features aggressive styling, with new wheels, a different bodykit complete with a new brushed silver apron that look stunning.
The C450 is powered by a tuned version of Mercedes' twin-turbo, 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine with 362 hp of power and 570 Nm of torque. Those impressive figures give the sedan a 0-100 km/h acceleration timing of 4.9 seconds.
The wraps were lifted off the estate version too. Daresay this is easily one of the best looking estates around, with a beautiful contoured profile that looks as good as it goes.
The C450 AMG Sport estate features the same powerplant as the sedan version, but acceleration figures have dropped minimally-0-100 km/h is completed in 5.0 seconds. Should be more than sufficient for the school run, don't you think?
MB's BMW X6 rival has also been revealed in AMG guise, in the form of the Mercedes-Benz GLE 63 Coupe SUV. While some will find it hard to comprehend the styling of this car, let's not forget that the segment previously belonged to BMW, who managed impressive sales with the X6.
The GLE 63 Coupe SUV will be powered by a 5.5-litre, twin-turbo V8 petrol engine that generates a touch under 550 horses. The ‘S' version is claimed to be capable of accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 4.2 seconds, all the way up to an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h.
