Mercedes-Benz C 220 CDI Now Locally Assembled In Pune

Mercedes-Benz India is currently having a great year in India. They plan on introducing more products within the country.

The German manufacturer wants to maximise its sales and will be locally assembling more of their vehicles in India.Now they have commenced local assembly of their C 220 CDI.

New C 220 CDI will be locally assembled at Mercedes Benz facility in Chakan, Pune. It was only three months ago that Mercedes launched their new C Class in India.

Eberhard Kern, Managing Director & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India expressed, "We are delighted that the ‘World Car of the Year', the new C-Class, will now be ‘Made in India' at our world class production facility, here in Pune."

He further added, "We are glad to commence the local production of the C 220 CDI and are confident that we will be able to cater to the increasing demand of this world winner for our discerning customers. The local production of the new C 220 CDI will continue the sedan's success story in the Indian market."

The locally assembled Mercedes C 220 CDI Style is priced at INR 37,90,000 and C 220 CDI Avantgarde is priced at INR 39,90,000 ex-showroom, Delhi. Stay tuned as the German manufacturer will launch several new vehicles in the coming months.
