Mattias Ulbrich, Audi IT Head Wins European Award
Mattia Ulbrich, the IT Head of Audi has won the European Chief Information Officer of the Year. CIONET, the European Business Network presented the award. Mattias Ulbrich and his team competed with other teams from six other countries.
Dr. Nils Fonstad, a jury member and scientist at the Sloan Center for Information Systems Research of the MIT said, "What most impressed us was how successfully Mattias Ulbrich and his team have cooperated with all departments to convert the ground-breaking potential of digital technologies into a competitive advantage."
The jury consists of 12 members, all IT experts specialising in the fields of business, science and politics.
Audi's IT Department employs more than a thousand people and supports subsidiaries of the Audi Group, Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. and Ducati Motor S.p.A.
