Maruti Suzuki Workers To Earn INR 16,800 Average Salary Hike
Maruti Suzuki is the leading manufacturer and top-seller of vehicles in Indian market. They have a ride range of products on offer in the country and are constantly adding new products.
The Japanese manufacturer also has several employees that develop their vehicles. Maruti Suzuki has decided to hike workers average monthly salary in India.
Wage Settlement Agreement has been reached for workers at Manesar and Gurgaon facilities. The average salary hike consists of INR 16,800 and will be provided within a span of three years.
During the first year Maruti Suzuki workers will receive INR 8,430. Workers will fetch INR 4,200 per month respectively during the second and third year, this is according to a three year agreement.
A deal was being struck between management and workers since April, 2015. Maruti Suzuki confirms that this agreement is valid till 31st of March, 2018. Workers will witness a hike of nearly 38 percent over a period of three years.
Previously the workers union were on strike and this new three year agreement was finalised without any violence. Several workers have agreed for the INR 16,800 average salary hike.
