Maruti Suzuki To Recall Alto 800 and Alto K-10 Over door latch Issue

Maruti Suzuki, India's largest carmaker will recall 33,098 units of the Alto 800 and the Alto K-10 to inspect right hand door latch assembly.
Out of 33,098 units, 19,780 units of Alto 800 and 13,318 units of Alto K10 will be recalled. The vehicles are the ones manufactured between 8th December 2014 and 18th February 2015.
Maruti Suzuki dealers will contact the customers who have cars made between this time period, inspect the cars and replace the parts for free if necessary.
Car owners can also check if their vehicle is on the recall list by logging on to www.marutisuzuki.com. The information is available instantly.
The customer can get details by just entering the chassis number of the vehicle or by just contacting the local dealer.
