Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire 2015 Facelift Compact Sedan Launched

Japanese automobile giant, Maruti Suzuki has witnessed tremendous success with both the Swift hatchback and Swift Dzire compact sedan. Over the years they have provided their models with minimal changes, to keep up with growing trends and changes.

Now Maruti Suzuki has launched a refreshed version of their Swift Dzire for 2015. The compact sedan gets a host of additional features compared to its predecessor. They will offer their refreshed model in seven variants, three diesel and four petrol models.

The most prominent change is up front at the grille, which gets a solid and bold chrome badge with Suzuki logo sitting proud at the centre. The bumpers too have been redesigned for a more elegant look.

The rear bumpers have also been redesigned and now has smooth and flowing lines. Maruti Suzuki have provided a broad chrome embellishment just above the license plate holder.

The Japanese manufacturer has provided its 2015 Swift Dzire with a set of new alloy wheels. Maruti Suzuki is calling them Motion Themed alloy wheels.

Fog lamps have been redesigned and get chrome treatment, to give it a more premium look.

Maruti Suzuki have given its 2015 Swift Dzire a pair of new headlights. They now look more angular and well integrated with the shape of the vehicle.

The Japanese manufacturer now provides its compact sedan with electronically foldable ORVMs. This gives the 2015 Swift Dzire a more premium feel and makes it easier for the driver to take care of his vehicle's mirrors while parking.

The 2015 Swift Dzire will come fitted with reverse parking sensors as part of Maruti Suzuki's safety package.

The Japanese manufacturer of automobiles has improved braking in its refreshed compact sedan. They claim that the new Swift Dzire has a more efficient braking system compared to its predecessor.

The petrol powered Swift Dzire gets a 1197cc four-cylinder engine. It produces 83.12 horsepower and 115 Nm of peak torque. They claim it provides fuel efficiency figures of 20.85 kpl. 2015 Swift Dzire gets a 1248cc diesel engine, which produces 73.94 horsepower and 190 Nm of peak torque. Maruti Suzuki engineers claim the diesel compact sedan provides fuel efficiency of 26.59 kpl.

In the interior they have provided an all-new infotainment system with Bluetooth connectivity. It looks more simple, elegant and clean compared to what was offered in the previous generation Swift Dzire.

The dashboard gets a black and beige colour combination. It is split with wooden printed inserts in the dashboard.

Maruti Suzuki has provided steering mounted audio and Bluetooth connectivity on their 2015 Swift Dzire.

To give owners of the new Swift Dzire a more premium and upmarket feel, Maruti Suzuki has provided an engine start/stop button.

The cabin of 2015 Swift Dzire gets two map lamps which can be used individually. It is nice touch so that the light does not distract the driver.

The seat upholstery looks more premium and has an elegant feel to it. Maruti Suzuki has specifically chosen this colour to make its 2015 Swift Dzire look more spacious and airy.

The rear seats get better cushioning for better comfort for rear occupants. Maruti Suzuki engineers have focused on improving their headrest to offer maximum comfort. A flip down arm-rest is also provided for a more relaxed experience in the rear seat.
