Maruti Suzuki S-Cross To Launch On 5th August
India's leading carmaker Maruti Suzuki has announced that the much awaited S-cross premium crossover will be launched in India on the 5th of August.
The S-Cross will be the first product by Maruti Suzuki that will be launched through the company's premium dealership, Nexa. The company has started accepting bookings for the S-Cross as well.
The Maruti Suzuki crossover will be powered by two engine options:
- 1.3-litre DDiS diesel engine will produce 89 horsepower and 200 Nm of torque. This engine will be mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
- 1.6-litre DDiS diesel engine will produce 118 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque. This engine is paired to a 6-speed manual transmission.
The S-Cross will be available with a host of features like cruise control, rain-sensing wipers, HID (High Intensity Discharge) headlamps with auto function and a Smartplay infotainment system with reverse parking camera.
The crossover will compete against vehicles like the Renault Duster, Ford Ecosport, Nissan Terrano and the recently launched Hyundai Creta.
