Maruti Suzuki Ritz To Make Way For YRA Premium Hatchback In India
Maruti Suzuki will be launching its YRA premium hatchback in Indian markets soon. The Japanese manufacturer has regained confidence that India is ready for premium vehicles.
Most products from Maruti Suzuki have attained instant familiarity with Indian buyers. They have a few products that seem interesting on paper, however, when it comes to real life they are not doing that well.
The manufacturer had launched its Ritz hatchback in India a while ago. This vehicle has not been able to make a significant dent in sales.
It is a common trend among leading manufacturers to end production of vehicles in markets, where it is not doing well. Maruti Suzuki is most likely going to pull the plug on its Ritz for the YRA premium hatchback.
The YRA premium hatchback once launched in India will face tough competition. The Hyundai Elite i20, Tata Bolt, Volkswagen Polo and soon to be launched Honda Jazz will pose potential threats.
Maruti Suzuki is also planning on setting up new showrooms and dealerships that will display their premium segment vehicles. More premium vehicles are expected to enter India by the Japanese manufacturer, after they witnessed success with Ciaz sedan.
