Maruti Suzuki Ciaz To Get Smart Hybrid Option Soon In India

Maruti Suzuki introduced its Ciaz premium sedan with both petrol as well as diesel engine options. Their premium cars are being well accepted by Indian customers this time around.

Japanese automobile manufacturer is now planning on introducing a Smart Hybrid engine option to Ciaz. It is most likely to be introduced in Indian market by August-end, 2015.

This system will switch off the engine whenever, Ciaz comes to a halt. Maruti Suzuki promises that its Smart Hybrid engine will provide better fuel efficiency than regular models.

Maruti Suzuki will also equip its Ciaz Smart Hybrid engine with energy regeneration from brakes and an Integrated Starter Generator. All these systems will recharge the battery and store it for later use.

The Japanese based manufacturer could also introduce its Smart Hybrid engine to other models. Maruti Suzuki recently launched its premium crossover, S-Cross which will be sold exclusively through Nexa outlets.
