Maruti Suzuki Baleno Production Commences At Manesar Facility
Maruti Suzuki recently announced the name of their premium hatchback, which was known as YRA. It has been confirmed that it has been christened as Baleno for Indian and international markets.
Baleno premium hatchback has now commenced production at Maruti Suzuki's Manesar facility. This means that its launch is coming up soon and will be visible across the country in a couple of months.
This premium hatchback will be showcased at 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. It will, however, be launched in Indian market first and will then be exported to international markets across the globe.
In India Baleno premium hatchback will be pitched against Honda Jazz, Fiat Punto Evo, Volkswagen Polo and Hyundai Elite i20. It is expected to receive several features need seen before within Maruti Suzuki vehicles.
Maruti Suzuki Baleno will be manufactured only in India and will be exported to Japan as well. No other country will be producing this premium hatchback, so expect quality to be top-notch.
Under the hood will be an option between a petrol and diesel engine. Both of them will be built domestically by Indian employees and will be high on fuel efficiency as is expected in the modern era.
