Maruti S-Cross Attracts Rs. 2-3 Lakh Discount Through NEXA
Maruti Suzuki launched its premium crossover, the S-Cross in the Indian market approximately four months back. The S-Cross is available exclusively through NEXA dealerships across the country. Now, dealerships are offering the premium crossover with discounts between Rs. 2-3 lakh.
The S-Cross witnessed a high point in terms of sales at the time of launch. Post launch, Maruti Suzuki has not been able to attract customers to its NEXA outlets. Most customers believe that Maruti Suzuki's premium crossover is a bit overpriced.
Low sales figures have forced NEXA dealerships in Mumbai and Delhi to offer various discounts on the S-Cross. The premium crossover will be offered with exchange bonus, loyalty bonus, and special benefits to customers.
Maruti Suzuki recently introduced the Premia Special Edition S-Cross in the Indian market. Expect many more new bundles that will make the premium crossover an attractive buy in the coming months. There is a high possibility of S-Cross being removed from Indian portfolio if sales continue to decline.
Suzuki plans to soon introduce the all-new Vitara compact SUV in the Indian market. The Vitara is a compact SUV, which offers SUV-like presence and will compete with Hyundai's Creta model in the Indian market. Maruti Suzuki is most likely to showcase the new Vitara at 2016 Auto Expo and is looking to conquer the compact SUV segment with its offering.
