MapMyIndia Partners With VECV To Provide Safety To Children
MapMyIndia, one of India's leading GPS navigation services has partnered with VE Commercial Vehicles to provide safety and security to school children with integrated safety solution.
Eicher, in collaboration with IIT Delhi and the Institute of Road Safety made India's first safe school bus 1996.
Eicher buses offer 37 safety features in its models like the Skyline Pro, Skyline and the Starline models. Keeping the same in mind, the company has come up with this initiative with Mapmyindia to provide a safe and secure transportation to school-going children by providing telematics solution.
Schools and customers now have the option to purchase the Eicher range of school buses equipped with an integrated safety solution developed by MapmyIndia.
This option keeps track of school children from the time they get onto the bus till they get back home safe.
The system features state-of-the-art GPS tracking, AV and Internet technologies to build a foolproof child-safety system, which takes off a huge burden from the parents and teachers.
It also comes with vehicle tracker, RFID tags for children, on-board cameras and DVR along with GPRS connectivity for live two-way communications that will track and report the child's movements during school hours.
