Mahindra has bagged in over 16,000 bookings for the TUV3OO since its launch. The TUV3OO is available with both manual and AMT gearbox options. Both manual and AMT version of TUV3OO has received exceptional response among Indian buyers.
At this moment, Mahindra has delivered 12,700 models of TUV3OO. The manufacturing unit has increased production to deliver vehicles to customers as soon as possible. Mahindra also witnessed a decent turnout during the recent festive season across the country.
Powering the TUV3OO is a 1.5-litre mHawk80 diesel engine with 2-stage turbocharger. The engine is tuned to produce 84bhp (81bhp in AMT) and 230Nm of peak torque output. Mahindra's TUV3OO delivers a fuel economy of 18.49 km/l.
Mahindra is planning on introducing two new models at 2016 Auto Expo in Delhi. There is a high possibility of an extended wheelbase version of TUV3OO in the pipeline. The extended version of TUV3OO will be a genuine 7-seater and could replace the Xylo model on offer in India.
The next product will be a compact SUV model, which was recently caught shooting an advert. Mahindra has provided only a codename, S101 and will be officially announcing its production name soon. The S101 will receive an all-new petrol and diesel engine from Mahindra.
