Mahindra Scorpio To Get Automatic Option Soon In India
Indian automobile manufacturer, Mahindra provided it's Scorpio with an all-new avatar. Designers gave the SUV a redesign both interior as well as exterior in India.
Ever since the modern and more appealing Scorpio was launched in India, everyone was expecting an automatic option. Mahindra, however, did not introduce it during the launch.
They promised that new Scorpio would receive automatic transmission within a few months. Now Mahindra has begun registration of a few Scorpio's with automatic transmission at the RTO.
Mahindra will be offering its automatic transmission in its top three variants of Scorpio. It will also be offered with both two-wheel drive as well as four-wheel drive automatic option.
In terms of changes there will be none on Mahindra's Scorpio. The automatic Scorpio will look like every other model, only an automatic badge in the rear will be added to remind others.
Indian manufacturer will use a self-shifting hydraulic 6-speed gearbox in its Scorpio. Mahindra is expected to price their automatic option for an additional amount of approximately INR 1,00,000.
