Indian four-wheeler manufacturer had provided its Scorpio SUV with a much needed refreshment. Mahindra had revamped its ageing Scorpio last year.
They have now announced that their current Scorpio has achieved highest annual sales ever. Mahindra has sold 51,533 models of Scorpio in fiscal year 2015.
The Scorpio has crossed the 50,000 unit barrier for fourth time in a row. Major credit to increase in sales go to updated version of Scorpio by Mahindra, which was launched last year.
Pravin Shah, President and Chief Executive, Mahindra expressed, "This is a very proud moment for us, as the iconic and trend-setting Scorpio has achieved yet another milestone."
He further added, "This achievement reaffirms the brand's popularity as well as the confidence consumers have reposed in us. Today, the Scorpio is one of the most admired and awarded brands within the Indian automobile industry."

- The Indian manufacturer provides a 2.2-litre mHawk engine, which produces 120 horsepower and 280 Nm of peak torque.
- They also provide their Scorpio with a2.5-litre mEagle engine, which produces 75 horsepower and 200 Nm of peak torque output.
Mahindra has priced its next-gen Scorpio from INR 8,27,251 to INR 12,96,289 ex-showroom, Mumbai. The manufacturer will be launching several new products in India to increase its market presence.
