Nick Heidfeld will be missing the next Formula E round owing to surgery. Heidfeld drives for Team Mahindra Racing and sustained an injury to his hand at the Putrajaya ePrix. The next Formula E race will be held in Punta del Este, Uruguay and Nick Heidfeld will sit this one out.
Filling the shoes of Heidfeld for a single race will be Oliver Rowland. Mahindra Racing will be offering Nick Heidfeld as much time as needed for recovery from surgery. Bruno Senna will be teamed up with Formula Renault Champion, Oliver Rowland at Punta del Este.
