Mahindra Is Now A Member Of Open Automotive Alliance
Mahindra & Mahindra is constantly evolving to be the best automobile manufacturer in the country. They are redesigning their products with modern offerings to attract buyers.
Mahindra has now become the first Indian manufacturer to join hands with the Open Automotive Alliance, to work on Android platform in cars in India.
Open Automotive Alliance is a global alliance of vehicle manufactures whose goal is to bring Android platform to all vehicles. They will offer class leading edge technology through the this platform.
Pravin Shah, President and Chief Executive, Mahindra expressed, "We are happy to be part of the OAA and being the first Indian OEM to be part of this prestigious global alliance, it is indeed a moment we are proud of."
He further added, "Going forward, after successful integration, we will be offering Android Auto in our flagship models of XUV 500 and the Scorpio as well as on our future platforms. I am confident that this will help us in taking a quantum leap in offering connectivity solutions to our customers".
They currently offer BLUE SENSE App in most of their vehicles. In their future models they will use Android Auto, which will provide better integration of Google services in the car.
