Mahindra Bolero Beats Hyundai Creta In Sales

Mahindra Bolero was a popular choice in the SUV segment when launched. It remained at the number one spot for a long time. Recently, however, several new SUVs have entered the market with modern designs and more efficient engines. Among these new launches is the Hyundai Creta.

The recently launched Creta has been making headlines for achieving phenomenal sales within few months. The compact SUV even became the best selling Utility Vehicle in terms of sales in September 2015, beating the sales of the Mahindra Bolero. Now, the Hyundai Creta has been beaten by the Bolero in terms of SUV sales during October 2015.

The Bolero caters to the needs and demands of both, urban as well as rural India. Mahindra also has the advantage of more accessible service networks across India. The Bolero has been achieving constant sales from the moment Mahindra launched it, till date.

Hyundai managed to sell 7,225 units of the Creta SUV in India during October 2015. On the other hand, Mahindra sold 529 units of the Bolero more than Hyundai. Mahindra sold 7,754 models of Bolero SUV in the country during October 2015.

Mahindra is constantly adding and updating its SUV range in the country. The Bolero too, is expected to receive a major facelift soon. Mahindra is expected to provide an all-new sporty exterior design and provide a more premium interior than what is on offer in current models.

Recently, Mahindra introduced its new compact SUV, the TUV3OO. Just before the TUV, Mahindra updated its XUV5OO and Scorpio models for the Indian and international markets. The next product to be launched in India by Mahindra will be a new compact SUV, which is expected by 2015-end.
