Mahindra Adventure Is The Title Sponsor For Rally Of Maharashtra 2015
Mahindra is popularly known for producing Utility Vehicles. The Indian manufacturer also takes part in several off-road and rally-based events in the country.
On 10th of June, 2015 Mahindra announced that they will be the title sponsor for ‘Rally Of Maharashtra 2015'. It is part of the Indian Rally Championship and will be a great honour for Mahindra.
Team Mahindra Adventure is the reigning champion of IRC and is expected to put on a great show at this years Nashik round. They are most likely to successfully defend their championship.
Vivek Nayer, Chief Marketing Officer, Automotive Division, Mahindra expressed, "At Mahindra we are committed towards supporting motor sports events in India."
He further added, "Being the title sponsor for the Rally Of Maharashtra is a step towards that direction and we are sponsoring it for the third year in a row."
This year three Super XUV500s will participate in Indian Rally Championship 2015. Mahindra expects that all three of their vehicles will perform well at their home circuit at Nashik.
Currently Mahindra Super XUV500s will be driven and navigated by:
- Gaurav Gill and co-driver Musa Sherif - 2013 APRC and 2014 IRC Champions.
- Amittrajit Ghosh and co-driver Ashwin Naik
- Sunny Sidhu and co-driver PVS Murthy
