Jaguar Bloodhound F-Type RRV To Debut At Coventry MotoFest
The Bloodhound will be attempting to shatter world land speed record. There will be several support vehicles and it will receive help from a special Jaguar F-Type.
Bloodhound F-Type RRV is the latest project from Special Vehicle Operations of Jaguar Land Rover. It will sport a one of a kind livery by Jaguar Designs, which will incorporate Bloodhound SSC paint scheme.
Jaguar Land Rover will reveal its Bloodhound F-Type RRV at Coventry MotoFest on 29th to 31st May, 2015. It will also be showcased later on at 2015 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The Bloodhound F-Type RRV will serve the purpose of a safety car for the actual record setting vehicle.
Bloodhound SSC will have Jaguar power plant at its heart, it will be a 5.0-litre V8 supercharged producing 542 horsepower, which will power the hydraulic system and oxidiser pump.
Jaguar will also showcase several of their iconic and heritage vehicles. Models like the '56 Long-Nose D-Type, '66 XJ13, XJR-9 that won Le Mans during 1988 and also a '76 Broadspeed XJ12 Coupe.
