Isuzu MU-7 To Be Offered With Auto Transmission In India Soon

Isuzu Motors currently offers a limited number of vehicles in the country. They offer the MU-7 SUV in India as one of their passenger vehicles in tough segment.

The Japanese manufacturer has realised that more Indians are leaning towards automatic transmissions. Isuzu has now confirmed that they will be offering its MU-7 with automatic transmission in India soon.

Here are technical specifications of Isuzu MU-7 SUV:

• Engine: 3.0-litre four cylinder, intercooled diesel engine
• Horsepower: 160
• Torque: 360 Nm
• Gearbox: 5-speed manual and soon to be launched automatic option

In terms of size, it is bigger than its competitor, the Toyota Fortuner, however, in regards to features it falls short. Isuzu MU-7 looks more simple and basic, when compared to the competition.

No details have been provided if other changes will be made to Isuzu MU-7 SUV. We believe only an automatic transmission will be introduced and pricing is expected to be around INR 25,00,000 ex-showroom.
