Isuzu Bags Order For 25 MU-7 SUVs From Bangalore Travel Operator
Isuzu has just bagged an order of 25 units of its MU-7 SUV from a Bangalore-based travel operator, Ramesh Tours & Travels.
The travel company will be supplying MU-7s to the Bangalore JW Marriot Hotel, to ferry their customers who demand comfort and spaciousness from their taxi provider.
Shigeru Wakabayashi, deputy managing director, Isuzu Motors India, spoke about the MU-7 SUV gaining in popularity because of the ‘sheer space and comfort' it delivers to its customers.
Isuzu India is in the process of expanding its dealer network in the country to sell the MU-7 SUV and the D-Max pickup truck. The company aims to have 60 dealerships by the end of 2015-16.
The MU-7 is currently available in Asian markets like the Philippines, China and Thailand, and will soon enter Malaysia as well. The SUV is based on the D-Max pickup platform.
