Hyundai Launches ‘Safe Move-Traffic Safety Campaign' For Children
Hyundai India has launched the 'Safe Move-Traffic Safety Campaign' in India, along with the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. This is part of Hyundai India's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
Under Safety Move, which is one of Hyundai India's CSR pillar, the South Korean manufacturer will promote the best practices of road and traffic safety habits among children. The four main pillars of Hyundai India's CSR are Safe Move, Green Move, Happy Move, and Easy Move.
Present at the event was Hyundai's Corporate brand ambassador Shah Rukh Khan and Nitin Gadkari, the Minister for Road transport & Highways and Shipping.
The Safe Move initiative will educate children about traffic safety, which will have both, online and offline engagement channels. The TV program, called The Robocar Poli animation series will be telecasted on Hungama TV channel. The series consists of 26 episodes and will be aired in English, Hindi and Tamil languages.
There will also be special School Contact and RWA (Residential Welfare Association) programs conducted, that will involve 40 schools from 5 major cities, which are Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, and Ahmedabad.
