Hyundai India Hike Prices Of Their Vehicles For 2015
South Korean manufacturer Hyundai has launched several new and interesting products in India during 2014. They began their year with the launch of their compact sedan Xcent and followed it up with its Santa Fe SUV and popular hatchback the Elite i20.
All manufacturers had announced in December, 2014 that they will be increasing the prices of their vehicles. The government of India had rollbacked its excise benefit that was provided to automobile manufacturers. Now most manufacturers have announced price hike for their products.
Rakesh Srivastava, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, commented, "In these adverse market conditions, the price increase is necessitated on account of the higher excise duty and increased input cost. We have increased the prices across all models starting from Eon to Santa Fe in the range of Rs.15, 000 - 1, 27,000 effective from January 01, 2015."

Hyundai Eon Price Hike 2015
The South Korean manufacturer offers its smallest vehicle in the form of an Eon. Hyundai India has hiked the price of its EON by INR 15,417. This means their vehicle will now be priced between INR 2,88,000 to INR 4,03,000 ex-showroom, Delhi.
Hyundai i10 Price Hike 2015
The i10 by Hyundai is affected by a price hike of INR 21,501. The hatchback will now be priced between INR 3,99,000 to INR 4,77,000 ex-showroom, Delhi.
Hyundai Grand i10 Price Hike 2015
The Grand i10 is gaining in popularity and will witness a hike of INR 22,508. This makes the hatchback a tad more expensive and will be priced ranging from INR 4,41,000 to INR 6,43,000 ex-showroom, Delhi.
Hyundai Xcent Price Hike 2015
Hyundai had launched its first compact sedan in India the Xcent. This vehicle will now cost an additional amount of INR 25,597. Making their model range go up between INR 4,73,000 to INR 7,47,000 ex-showroom, Delhi.
Hyundai Elite i20 Price Hike 2015
Their premium hatchback, which was launched at the end of 2014. The Elite i20 will now cost dearer by INR 29,814. Hyundai's Elite i20 model will now cost between INR 4,99,000 to INR 7,66,000 ex-showroom, Delhi.
Hyundai Verna Price Hike 2015
The Verna is Hyundai's mid-sized option and its model prices will be hiked by INR 23,965. Their models will now range from INR 7,93,000 to INR 11,72,000 ex-showroom, Delhi.
Hyundai Elantra Price Hike 2015
The Elantra by Hyundai will also witness a price hike of INR 36,912.
Hyundai Sonata Price Hike 2015
The Sonata sedan is also affected by the price hike. Hyundai will increase the price of their sedan significantly by INR 45,396.
Hyundai Santa Fe Price Hike 2015
The South Korean's recently launched SUV, Santa Fe is affected most by price hike. Hyundai has increased the price of their vehicle by INR 1,27,000.
