Hyundai Elite i20 Sells 1.5 Lakh Units In 20 Months

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has stated that its Elite i20 model has crossed the 1.5 lakh unit milestone in around 20 months.

"We are overwhelmed with customers' response by receiving unprecedented 1,50,000 domestic sales for the Elite i20. This reflects the strong customer connect and confidence on Hyundai products",HMIL Senior Vice President (Sales & Marketing) Rakesh Srivastava said in a statement.

The Elite i20, which was launched in March 2014 controls around 66% of the market share in the premium compact segment in the Indian Automotive market.
