Six Months Waiting Period For Hyundai Creta In India
The Hyundai Creta automatic version has a waiting period of six months in the country. It is the only compact SUV in India to be offered with an automatic transmission for the diesel engine.
The Creta was recently launched with both, petrol and diesel engines. Hyundai, however, decided to provide only the diesel mill with an optional automatic gearbox. This gives the compact SUV an edge over its competitors.
In India, Hyundai Creta competes with the likes of Renault Duster, Nissan Terrano, Ford EcoSport, and the Maruti S-Cross. All these SUVs are offered with an automatic transmission, however, only with the petrol engine option.
Powering the Hyundai Creta automatic model is a 1582cc. CRDi engine. It produces 126.19 horsepower and 259.87Nm of peak torque output. The SUV comes paired to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Hyundai Creta automatic is available in a single trim option, SX+. It is priced at INR 14,23,865 (ex-showroom, Mumbai). The SX+ is also the top of the line model.
In terms of safety, Hyundai Creta automatic comes with six airbags, ABS with EBD, Vehicle Stability Management, Hill-start assist control, Electronic Stability Control, Static Bending Lights, and height-adjustable seatbelt anchor.
Hyundai India recently announced that its Facebook fan page has garnered six million fans. The Korean automobile manufacturer connected with Indian fans via Facebook, only four years ago and has achieved this milestone relatively fast.
