Honda Mobilio Gets Improved Seats For 2015
Japanese automobile giant Honda had launched its much awaited MPV for India. The manufacturer has christened their vehicle as ‘Mobilio'. It provides sufficient room for seven occupants.
Only having comfortable seats is not adequate, they need to be a little more. Honda now provides a demonstration of their new ‘Versatile Seats'. These seats will be unique to the Mobilio and improves seating and luggage holding capabilities in the MPV.
These seats feature one touch tumble up feature. They have given reclining options to both second as well as the third row. Honda has made it possible for second row occupants to slide their seats, however, the third row misses out on this feature.
Honda India also showcases in the video the various combinations in which their seats can be folded to accommodate more luggage. The primary function of Honda' Mobilio is to be a vehicle that can be used by many passengers, while still having space for most luggage.
The Japanese manufacturer provides its Mobilio MPV with both petrol and diesel engines. Honda offers ten trim levels with different options to suit various needs of a customer. Honda Mobilio prices commence from INR 6,49,000 to INR 11,41,000 ex-showroom, Delhi.
- The petrol powered Mobilio sports a 1497cc engine and is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. It produces 118 bhp, along with 145 Nm of peak torque and has an ARAI certified fuel efficiency of 17.3 kpl.
- The diesel powered Mobilio features a 1498cc engine and is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. It produces 99 bhp, along with 200 Nm of peak torque and has an ARAI certified fuel efficiency of 24.2 kpl.
