Japanese car manufacturer Honda has launched the much awaited hatchback, the Jazz in India today. This car has been a much anticipated product from the company's end as well as the consumer's end.

The first generation Jazz that was in India did not capture the market as Honda expected it to. So now, the Japanese carmaker is back with a car that could be a segment leader.

Honda Jazz Engine specification & Transmission:

The Honda Jazz is available with a choice of either a petrol or a diesel engine. The 1.2-litre, i-VTEC petrol engine produces 90 bhp and 110 Nm of torque while the 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engine produces 100 PS of power and 200 Nm of peak torque.

The Jazz is also offered with a choice of manual transmission or an automatic gearbox with paddle shifters mounted below the steering wheel.

Honda has claimed a fuel efficiency of 18.7 kpl for the petrol engine and 27.3 kpl for the diesel variant.
