Honda Cars Registers 14 Percent Growth In India During April

Japanese automobile manufacturer, Honda Cars India has registered a 14 percent growth in sales for April, 2015. They have also improved the number of vehicles exported out of India.

Honda sold 12,636 four-wheeler during April, 2015, which is 14 percent more than what it did in April, 2014. The manufacturer previously managed selling 11,040 vehicles.

Honda sold 827 Brio models and 2,862 Amaze models in India during April, 2015. The hatchback and compact sedan are doing well in a competitive segment.

Their best-seller during April, 2015 was the Honda City sedan. The latest version and perhaps their best so far managed to sell 8,203 units with relative ease.

Honda's very first MPV for India sold in limited numbers. Their mobilio managed to sell 689 units during April, 2015. The Japanese manufacturer also offers a SUV in the form of its CR-V which sold 55 units.

Honda Cars India Limited had a total domestic sale of 12,636 units during April, 2015. Their grand total for the month stood at 13,489 which includes exports as well.

The Japanese manufacturer is expected to launch its all-new premium hatchback for Indian market. Honda Jazz will be their latest offering in India it will be packed with features and will have a lower price tag than before.
