The McRae Rally at Knockhill is seeing more famous names sign up. The latest being Hannu Mikkola, former world rally champion and Arne Hertz, his longtime co-driver.
They will be taking part in the special two-day rally, which celebrates the 20th anniversary of Colin McRae's world rally championship win.
The Scottish rally fans loved Mikkola during the days when the annual RSAC Scottish Rally used be held at more regions. He says Scotland has always been his favourite rally location in the UK.
Speaking about the McRae rally, Mikkola says it is great to be a part of this event and support it and remember what Collin accomplished in the British Motorsport history.
Another latest star to sign up for the event was Stig Blomqvist, the Swedish rally driver, who use to race here even before Top Gear made him famous as its team driver.
Quintin Milne too will be at the event, whose father Donald Milne supported McRae with rally cars and sponsorship which helped with his success.
The event is scheduled to take place on the 16th and 17th of May. There will be a number of rare Audi Quattros at the event too!
