GM India Creates New Leadership Positions For Long-Term Growth
American automobile giant General Motors has several brand of vehicles under its wing. They are also present with an extensive product portfolio in Indian market.
Currently General Motors is not doing so well in India in terms of sales. They have now opted to create new positions of leadership for long-term growth in Indian market.
Arvind Saxena, President and Managing Director, General Motors India, explained, "The new appointments further strengthen our commitment to the Indian market to offer class leading vehicles along with a truly satisfying ownership experience for our esteemed customers."
Kaher Kazem, President & Managing Director, GM Uzbekistan, will take up the role of Chief Operating Officer in India. His duty will be to manage industrial aspect of GM India business.
GM India has also appointed a new Vice President of Sales, Hardeep Singh Brar will take up this challenge from 1st of July, 2015. He will work from their headquarter in Gurgaon.
From the 1st of August, 2015 Jack Uppal, will take up the role of Vice President of Marketing and Customer Experience, GM India. All three of them will report to Arvind Saxena, President & Managing Director, GM India.
