Formula One 2015 Spanish Pre-Qualifying Surprises
This weekend Formula One Championship heads to Spain on 9th to 10th May. This is the very first European round in 2015 calendar and racers are happy to be here.
First two practice sessions are done with in Spain and there were a few pleasant surprises. It seems like qualifying will be interesting and won't be dominated by one team in particular.
Both practice sessions were dominated by Mercedes and Ferrari team drivers. Hamilton, Vettel, Rosberg and Raikkonen were the fastest four during both sessions.
Pleasant surprise was that McLaren-Honda have made an improvement. They were 15th and 16th in practice one. Practice two saw Jenson Button up in seventh, while Fernando Alonso moved up to 11th position.
Toro Rosso duo also made healthy improvements with Max Verstappen in sixth and Carlos Sainz in ninth. Danil Kyvat was the best driver in Red Bull team finishing fifth, while Daniel Ricciardo was 13th fastest.
Qualifying will begin today at 17:30 at Spanish Grand Prix. Race also will be held at 17:30 on 10th May, 2015. So stay tuned and do let us know who you think will win the race.
