Surprisingly Fernando Alonso will not be present on the grid of Australia race. The Spaniard suffered a concussion during preseason testing. Doctors have requested that he take rest and avoid re-injuring himself, which could cause permanent damage or even death.
Scuderia Ferrari duo Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen are keen to start the first round on a high note. They admit that the Italian machine is not as fastest as Mercedes, however, they promise to be on the podium more often.
Major threat this year to Mercedes seems to be coming from the Williams Team. Both Felipe Massa and Valtteri Bottas have shown incredible race pace as well as can go fast for a single lap. According to us they seem to be the likely podium challengers this year.
Sahara Force India has confirmed that they will not be among the top runners in Australia. They had several issues where their car was not ready for the first test and during the second test other issues plagued their campaign.
