Formula One 2015 Monza GP; Pre-Qualifying Results & Analysis
Monza is Scuderia Ferrari's home track and creating an impression is very important. Both Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen receive new components and updates to be competitive in their home race.
Mercedes Petronas AMG has dominated all practice sessions at Monza so far. Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg have been trading first and second position among themselves.
Final practice session was tricky as the track was damp due to rain and eventually dried out. Drivers did come out on slick tyres, however, tricky conditions did not permit them in setting fastest lap times.
McLaren Honda this weekend as well will be collecting several grid penalties due to new engines. Surprisingly Jenson Button and Fernando Alonso have managed to show decent race pace.
Currently Hamilton is leading Formula One 2015 Championship by 28 points from Rosberg. Vettel in his Ferrari is only 39 points adrift of second place, however, winning a few races can surely benefit the German.
Qualifying at Monza begins on 5th September, 2015 at 17:25 IST and we hope rain stays away. Formula One Italian race will commence at 17:25 IST on Sunday 6th September, 2015 stay tuned for more updates.
