One Off Ford Mustang Built Inspired By Apollo Program
American carmaker Ford is returning to the Experimental Aircraft Association's (EAA) annual Air Venture show that will take place in Oshkosh, Wisconsin to introduce a one off Ford Mustang, that is inspired by the Apollo program.
This car will pay homage to the Apollo program by NASA. The company will donate the Mustang Apollo Edition to the EAA and the car will be auctioned during a Gathering of Eagles Gala that is to take place towards this month end.
The money from the auctioned car will go to the organization's around the year youth aviation programs.
The Ford Mustang Apollo edition is based on a 2015 model, although Ford hasn't revealed any other details of the car regarding its specs or power.
The Mustang gets a two-tone black and white paint job with red accents, and also alloy wheels with low-profile tyres.
