Ford Fiesta Classic & Figo Most Likely To Be Discontinued In India
Ford India currently sells a range of vehicles in different segments. They currently offer their Figo in hatchback segment and Fiesta Classic in the sedan segment.
The American based manufacturer is planning on introducing new products for the Indian market. Upcoming vehicles from Ford are the Figo twins, which include a compact sedan and hatchback.
It is most likely that Ford will not take the same route it did with the Fiesta Classic. The manufacturer will not sell the new-gen Figo, alongside its older model, which could value lower.
Ford will discontinue its current Figo and Fiesta Classic, which will make way for their new products. The Fiesta is already selling in its latest avatar and a petrol variant will be introduced soon.
The Figo will be introduced in India as the next-gen Figo and Figo Aspire. Both models are expected to launch within this year and Ford will export it to global markets as well.

Expect Ford to offer heavy discounts and offers on current Figo and Fiesta classic models. It is most likely that they will clear their existing stock prior to the launch of new models in India.
