Fiat Avventura Could Lose Rear Mounted Spare Wheel As Update
Fiat India has launched its Avventura crossover in the country during 2014 and a minor update is on its way. Italian based manufacturer based their Avventura model on its Punto Evo hatchback.
Avventura could lose its rear mounted spare wheel in the upcoming update. Fiat India could also offer new and more vibrant colour options for this crossover.
Ford India is also contemplating on putting its spare wheel back inside of EcoSport. In our opinion it takes away the personality of the vehicle, it does make more sense in urban environment.
The Avventura too will look more like Fiat Punto Evo without its spare mounted wheel. It would become very difficult to distinguish between both models, in a way we think it could affect sales of the model.
Under the hood of Avventura is the following engine:
- 1.3-litre diesel engine churns out 92 horsepower and 208Nm of peak torque.
- 1.4-litre petrol engine delivers 89 horsepower and 115Nm of peak torque output.
Engineers are expected to improve fuel efficiency in the upcoming update of Avventura. Fiat India is expected to keep pricing as it is, while providing minor cosmetic updates to their crossover.
