Chevrolet Launches Trailblazer In India At Rs. 26.40 Lakh
Chevrolet launches Trailblazer in India at a price of Rs. 26.40 lakhs ex-showroom (Delhi). Customers can book this SUV through Amazon.in across the country. This is the first launch by Chevrolet in India during 2015.
The Trailblazer can be booked through the Amazon website. Chevrolet will then assign the closest dealership to the customer to take care of further needs. The complete booking amount will be refunded in case customers change their mind.
Powering the Chevrolet Trailblazer is a 2.8-litre, turbocharged DURAMAX diesel engine. It is tuned to produce 197.13bhp and 500Nm of peak torque. Power is delivered to the front wheels through a 6-speed automatic transmission.
In terms of safety, Chevrolet will provide the Trailblazer with double SRS airbags, pre-tensioner seatbelts, high strength steel cage, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Traction Control System (TCS), and rear park assist.
The entertainment system receives MYLINK to keep the driver connected to his mobile phone. The Chevrolet Trailblazer also gets a 7-inch touchscreen for ease of use. The SUV will also be equipped with climate control and electronic cruise control.
The Trailblazer SUV will have tough competition in India, with the Hyundai Santa Fe, Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour, and the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport.
Chevrolet Spin is the next product that will be launched in the Indian market. Till now, there is no confirmation of the launch date of the Spin, however, it is surely coming to India soon.
