Chevrolet To Launch New Beat Hatchback In India During 2017

American automobile giant, Chevrolet is unveiling several new and interesting products for their global markets. Most of these products will be coming to Indian shores as well.

The Beat hatchback has been on sale in Indian market for a while now. Chevrolet India has given it very few minor updates and has overall maintained the design of their hatchback.

Internationally, Beat is sold in several markets as the Spark hatchback and is a popular choice. Now, General Motors has decided to provide an all-new and fresh lease of life to the model.

This new version of Beat will be introduced in India by 2017, while in other markets it is set to go on sale by mid-2016. The all-new beat sheds off its box design for a more aerodynamic design structure.

For India, Chevrolet is most likely to use the same engines that does duty in the current Beat hatchback and will offer both petrol and diesel engine options, and an optional AMT option could also be thrown into the equation.

It is most probable that Chevrolet could showcase the new Beat at the upcoming 2016 Auto Expo. The company will also be revealing the all-new Cruze premium sedan for India at the same motor show. Stay tuned for all the updates.
