Brabus 700 Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S Coupe Unveiled At Dubai Motor Show
Brabus has showcased a performance version of the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S Coupe at the 2015 Dubai Motor Show. Dubbed, the 700 Coupe, this model features a 5.5-litre, V8 biturbo engine with new turbochargers, which is mated to an AMG Speedshift Plus 7G-Tronic gearbox.
The engine after modifications now produces 700PS (690bhp) and 960Nm of torque. On the performance front, the engine is electronically restricted to 300 km/h and can accelerate from 0 – 100 km/h in 4.0 seconds.
However, if you're hungry for more performance, Brabus offers the 6-litre, biturbo, 4x4 Coupe, which produces 850 PS (838bhp) and 1,450Nm of torque. This version of the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S Coupe can attain speeds of 0 – 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 320 km/h.
Visually, the most noticeable change is the ‘B' logo instead of the ‘Three Pointed Star'. Brabus has also provided the vehicle an all black paint job, giving it a stealth persona and blue paint on the callipers, which gives it a nice contrast.
Brabus has worked on the SUVs aerodynamic package. They have provided a front spoiler lip and Brabus AIRMATIC air suspension with a control module. Engineers have also reduced the centre of gravity in the SUV for improved handling and driving experience.
