Brabus Lays Hands On The Mercedes-Benz G500 4x4² For Frankfurt!
Brabus, the German car tuner has been up and about, very busy with cars for the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. It has something special to deliver this time-a Mercedes-Benz G500 4x4² tuned by them.
They have given this SUV some more of what it has in excess-power!
Brabus has worked on the 4.0-litre, twin-turbocharged V8 engine to make it produce 493 horsepower and 710 Nm of torque, that is 100 Nm more than the original!
This is like injecting Bigfoot with super adrenaline! The SUV can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds and reach a top speed that is electronically restricted to save the tyres of 210 km/h.
Power is delivered through a 7-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters and is audible via a stainless-steel sports exhaust system actively controlled by butterfly valves.
Cosmetically, the G500 4x4² gets updated bumpers, special radiator grille with integrated Brabus logo, a hood scoop, a new radiator grille, black-tinted Brabus xenon headlamps, underfloor lighting for the running boards while the interior features Alcantara headliner as well as Alcantara and carbon accents.
