2016 Brabus Rocket 900 Desert Gold Edition Unveiled At Dubai Motor Show
Brabus has unveiled the all-new Rocket 900 Desert Gold Edition, which is based on the the Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG at the 2015 Dubai Motor Show. The Desert Gold edition is a special edition model, which is only available for the Middle Eastern and Gulf countries.
Exterior of the vehicle receives an exquisite Desert Gold paint job and drives on 21-inch gloss black alloy wheels with gold pinstripes, while the brake callipers get gold colour treatment.
Powering the Rocket 900 Desert Gold Edition is a 6.3-litre, V12 engine, which has been retuned by Brabus. The engine now produces 900bhp and the torque has been limited to 1198Nm to protect the gearbox from being wrecked by the massive torque output.
The turbocharger has been increased in size by Brabus. Air intake and exhaust manifolds has also been modified. The intake manifold has gold heat reflection for maximum power at all times. With all these performance upgrades the Brabus Rocket 900 Desert Edition can now reach a top speed of 350 km/h and sprint from 0 – 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds.
Interiors have also been spruced up for a premium feel and has received black quilted leather and gold trim around the cabin.
