BMW Reveals Its Official Safety Car For 2015 MotoGP Season
German premium luxury car manufacturer, BMW has unveiled their new M Safety Car for the 2015 MotoGP Championship. It will be the very first time the M4 will be used on MotoGP circuits. They will be running their safety car with several new technologies that will gradually make its way to the street legal M4.
This is the 17th time that MotoGP will be using BMW vehicles as safety cars. The partnership of Dorna Sports and BMW has been established since 1999. They have signed a deal, which states that BMW will provide safety cars till 2020.
BMW M division will celebrates its 20th anniversary in MotoGP in 2019. This is an incredible journey and the German automobile manufacturer is looking forward to further its partnership with MotoGP.
The BMW M4 MotoGP Safety Car will feature water injection system. This system increases performance and reduces fuel consumption in combustion engines. It will the very first time this system will be used in a Safety Car for MotoGP 2015 Championship.
MotoGP has a wide fan base and enthusiasts from all over the world tune in to catch the action. This a great stage for BMW to showcase its vehicles, especially their M performance vehicles.
Currently pre-season testing is underway in MotoGP, there are a few more tests before the championship begins. The first race is scheduled to take place at Losail International Circuit in Qatar. Qualifying will commence on 28th of March, 2015 with Raceday on 29th of March, 2015.
