Audi TT India Launch Has Been Scheduled For 23rd April
Audi India has planned to launch several new products during 2015. The TT supercar will be launched in India on 23rd of April, 2015.
The German luxury car manufacturer has also promised to launch another four products by 2015-end. Audi India has not confirmed their upcoming products and will shed light on them soon.
The TT by Audi will be offered with a single engine option:
- Engine: 2.0-litre, 45 TFSI Quattro petrol
- Horsepower: 230
- Torque: 370Nm
- Gearbox: 6-speed S Tronic automatic transmission
- Top speed: 245 kph
Audi has made sure that its TT supercar will be an entertainer in all senses of the word. The German engineers have tuned this vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 kph in a matter of 5.3 seconds.
The TT will be a feature-rich sports car for Indian markets. Audi will provide all weather LED headlights and taillights. It will also sport an all digital cockpit for improved driver engagement.
German engineers have provided a flat bottomed steering wheel with paddle shifters. Vehicle controls will be mounted on to the steering wheel for ease of access.
In terms of pricing, the Audi TT will cater to a very niche market in India, as it does globally. We are expecting the sports car to be priced approximately between 60 to 65 lakhs ex-showroom.
